This is January!?
It has been in the 50s' all week. No snow. Not a blizzard in sight. Climate change for sure. I do know that the long term look of this is not good , however I am really enjoying this warm winter.
A trip to the beach this weekend for some photo ops resulted in a calm lake and tons of people and dogs about.
No snowy beach, smashing waves of ice, no drama...sigh.

Sounds lovely! We are having the same kind of weather here. Iknow that it isn't good - the plants NEED the cold and snow and the bugs will be bad in the summer without more freezes - BUT I am enjoying it.
I feel the same. No shoveling! I like that. Love the photo. You feel calm just gazing at it.
I agree with your sentiments. Not good for the world but good for the day. I didn't make it to the beach though. Maybe tomorrow. It is always very peaceful there in the winter.
