it has been a long hot summer and it aint over!

time has been so hard to come by. Free time. Time coupled with energy, with creative energy.  Finally a reprieve, so here I am again.
The pillow. The embroidery is thisclose to done. I noticed a few spots that need a bit of finishing as I photographed it. The denimn is upcycled boys jeans. soft. worn but not threadbare. sunbleached . Next it will get a back and maybe a bordered edge, be stuffed with a king size bed pillow and finished.

This corner is my favorite. I really enjoyed making this. Playing with ideas and colors. Some worked better then others but in the end I am happy with the top.
I am whittling through my stash of old jeans and made this a while ago. it holds my little tablet nicely.
As long as I am on a roll I have started this as well. early stages. more to come.

A special thanks to all of you who have e-mailed me inquiring if I am o.k.  I was surprised and flattered to be thought of! I am glad you stop in here ! Thank you all!

Fabulous stitching, so precise. Thanks for sharing your pictures -- it looks like you've been very busy this hot, hot, summer.

I love your embroidery. You really know how to turn a sow's ear into a silk purse. LOL

Love the contained and fine embroidery....is there anything more relaxing and fulfilling than stitching?
