All stitching was set aside to wander the forest in search of spring Trillium's.

shy blooms peek out from beneath dark woods.

This one choose to stand alone as if on stage bursting out from a downed tree.

While some enjoy the crowds beneath the shady trees.

Hidden among the lush greens a burgundy Trillium stands tall.

I see you were treading lightly through Mother Nature's glorious gifts.
What a beautiful diary of your walk with nature.
Thank you for sharing your walk with us. I could almost smell the freshness!
Aren't these lovely? My husband loves them, and we carefully naturalized them in the woods by our house. One morning two years ago I was admiring how they were spreading beautifully, and the next day they were all gone. Deer had eaten them. They have never really recovered from that.
